So there I was lying in the hospital, wondering what the F*** just happened when this guy in a white coat smacks my ass as hard as........This might be too far back, let me fast-forward a bit.

Ever since I was a kid helping my mom in the garden, I’ve been fascinated by plants. Each one felt like it had a purpose, a gift for anyone who took the time to learn. Those moments were simple, peaceful, and they’re long gone, but the passion they sparked has never faded.

My brother and I came up with the idea for our herb slicer in April 2022, after he saw me cutting up my herb with scissors instead of a grinder, and Xhale was born from one question: "Wouldn’t it make your life easier if they but the blades inside the grider?"

The Problem: Grinders crush the herb, damage and destroy important terpenes, and leave an uneven texture, wasting what actually matters. Our solution: A slicer that cuts cleanly, preserving the herb's natural flavor, aroma, and consistency. Using blades wasn’t about reinventing the wheel, it's about elevating the experience.

We had already invested over $30,000 for prototypes and engineering fees. We were ready to move into production when the manufacturer we planned to work with suddenly tripled the manufacturing cost compared to their original quote.

We decided that we had come too far and invested too much to just give up. We searched for months, looking for anyone who had the ability to make our slicers, and after meeting with dozens of machining companies and hearing it was not possible more times than we could count, we found the right partner.

It took us more than three years, 13 prototypes, and countless revisions to get it right. We obsessed over every detail, from how the blades performed to the chip-resistant anodized finish, to ensure the kind of quality customers would be proud to show off.

Production for the first 2,000 slicers moved painfully slow as we refined the process and worked through manufacturing issues. Some customers waited as long as eight months for their order, but hearing how much they loved it once it finally arrived is when we knew we were building something that was about to change the entire industry.

Xhale started from a lifestyle, not an idea. It is who we are, we created something we love and use on a daily basis, and this is just the beginning. We are continuing to grow, innovate, and invent products that will revolutionize the industry.
